Town & Country Pool Builders, serving Virginia, Maryland & DC offer Halloween pool party tips
Are you looking at your swimming pool and wondering if there is a chance to throw at least one more poolside party? Town & Country Pools believe there is still time for at least one more end of year bash! Below we have put together some pool party tips for you to host the perfect Halloween swimming pool party. This last party of the year is a perfect way to enjoy some pool time with your friends and family. Your guests may not go into the water if it’s too cold — but if you have a swimming pool water heater — they might! If you think anyone will swim, make certain you plan a pool cleaning and maintenance visit before, and after, the party.
Hosting a swimming pool party in October can leave you with a few concerns. To ensure your guest are comfortable a few pool party tips would include having a pool water heater, outdoor heat lamps and a towel warmer. With these few additional items swimming in October might just be possible! If the air is chilly the purchase of outdoor heat lamps and a towel warmer will help your guest be more comfortable as they get out of the swimming pool.
Pool Party Tips For Your Halloween Swimming Pool Party:
- A swimming pool game for the kids could include “black light/orange light” similar to red light/green light. LED lighting allows you to change the color of the water and kick off a rousing game.
- An in-pool relay race might also be fun for everyone. Play the game tag team style or have individuals fend for themselves! Have your guests push a mini pumpkin across the swimming pool water and see who gets from one end to another first.
- Scavenger hunts are always fun. You can scout for sunken objects or for Halloween themed objects hidden around the yard.
What kind of Halloween party would it be without some Halloween-themed “scary” foods? Cook and serve seasonal foods or stick to the tried and true hamburgers or hots on the grill. Don’t forget to pick up some Halloween candy for the kids… and the adults! If there’s space, host a pumpkin carving contest. You can also have a Halloween costume parade and give prizes to the winners — we’ll bet that everyone at your party will be a winner!
Although, the weather is starting to cool off Town and Country Pools hope these pool party tips will ensure your friends and family an end of year bash to be remembered! Looking for more swimming pool party ideas?
